Counter-drone systems – Heathrow and Gatwick
The two most common British airports have strengthened their drone countermeasures following the drone chaos which caused a shutdown at Gatwick airport and around a thousand of flights to be cancelled. The newly acquired drone defense system consists of Israeli Drone Dome, which is based on tracking and jamming technology and works within a range of 6.2 miles.
